Margot Robbie is an Australian actress, born on July 2, 1990, in Dalby, Queensland, Australia. She rose to fame after starring in the role of Naomi Lapaglia in Martin Scorsese's film The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.
Robbie made her acting debut in the 2008 Australian film Vigilante and gained popularity with her performance in the soap opera Neighbours (2008-2011). She has since appeared in several successful films such as Focus (2015), The Legend of Tarzan (2016), Suicide Squad (2016), and I, Tonya (2017).
In addition to acting, Robbie is also a film producer and has produced several films through her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in I, Tonya.
Robbie has also come forward supporting various social causes and is active in advocating for climate change and animal rights. In 2019, she was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world.
